Hi I'm Athens Keanu James Acosta

I grew up in Hanapepe, Kauai, Hawaii. I am a Mormon. Fifth generation LDS/Mormon. Graduated from Waimea High School Class of 2016.

About Me

Elder Acosta serving in the Las Vegas Mission. I am from Kauai, Hawaii of loving parents Nelson Acosta and Harvette Kaneakua-Acosta. Graduated from Waimea High School 2016. My hobbies are wrestling, football, volleyball, swimming, basketball, and Judo. My grandfather Harry Kaneakua is my sensei with the Judo rank of RokuDan (Red&White) USJF #6486. I am 5th generation Mormon/LDS. Before applying for my LDS Mission call, I was blessed to baptize my father (Nelson S Acosta). Also was sealed to my parents on June 5, 2016 in the Laie Temple (Hawaii) Grandma Wendy and Grandpa Kaneakua served as Temple workers from the opening/dedication of the San Diego Temple (California). I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents and grandparents helped and prepared me to better understand this great Gospel. It is within my heart that I became a Mormon. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior

How I live my faith

(Elder Acosta) By obeying and striving to live the laws of the Gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I have used them in my daily life. The scriptures help to strengthen my testimony and give me a constant understanding of this great Gospel. Daily prayer guides me through out the day.
