Hi I'm Kenneth

I'm a nerd.

About Me

I consider myself a creative person, often thinking and doodling in my spare time. I enjoy animation and view it as more of an art form, and less as entertainment. I have a very strong moral code and a desire to live my life in the light of Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised into the Gospel, so I've never had a moment in my life where I was not exposed to it. However I did not gain a true testimony until the day I decided I wanted to be baptized. Traditionally, children raised in the Gospel are baptized at the age of 8, and I was no different. However, after learning the significance and blessings thereof with baptism, I decided for myself that I wanted to become part of the church. Since then I've gone through many things that have tested my faith and testimony, and each time I find myself rising above and fighting through. I strongly believe in the phrase "endure to the end" because as part of God's plan of happiness, we are meant to be tested. I have a faith that regardless of the trials that are put in front of us, they are each trials that we can rise above, as God only gives us trials that we can achieve. I know the church is true, and that it is the one true church in the world in these latter days. I know that while the world is full of opposition, it is our world, a gift of God that we should appreciate, as it is a significant part of his perfect plan to teach us what it means to have an enduring faith in his glory and purpose. I know that we are a blessed people, and there is much work to be done to bring those who have lost their way back to the light. It's through my testimony that I am capable of fighting all odds, facing all trials, and hoping for a better tomorrow. For as long as I have faith in the God of Miracles, all things are possible.

How I live my faith

I enjoy my ward for what it is, a small community of like-minded people who follow the teachings of the Gospel. I feel comfortable within my ward and do my best to participate in discussions and lessons. I'm very sociable with the members, often nodding my head, waving, or smiling in greeting. I try to be a friendly face for the members so that, while I currently do not hold any specific responsibilities or callings, I can be a welcome face and a means to assist and serve.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Kenneth
A testimony is a spiritual witness given to an individual by the Holy Ghost. It is also(in my opinion) the key reason that we are here on this earth today. A testimony in it's entirety is something forever growing. It grows along with you, based on the knowledge and experiences you gain throughout your journey in life. It is also a centerpiece of your faith, as many of the trials in your life will be a test to see how strong your testimony really is, and how much faith you have not only in it, but in all aspects of the Gospel.
