Hi I'm Kimberly

I'm from Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm a missionary in Vancouver, Washington. I love music and playing the piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love watching movies with my family. I love to dance and took ballet for 12 years. I love music, I'm always listening to music or playing the piano. I went to college for a year and want to pursue a career in health care. I will soon be serving as a full time missionary. I have two playful Yorkies. My favorite color is purple and I love all things Disney.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that has been members of the church since the 1800's. I come from a long line of pioneers who crossed an ocean and a continent to come to Salt Lake and be involved in establishing the church out West. I've been taught about Jesus Christ and His love for me and my family my whole life. I've seen how the restored gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed my family and brought us great joy. I choose to continue to follow the gospel because I am so much happier when I do than when I don't. I know that through Jesus Christ my family can be together forever and I love my family more than anything else in this world. I know that Christ sacrificed everything for me, He gave His life so that I can live with Him again one day. He made it possible for each of us to be forgiven of our past mistakes and be with the people we love for eternity. I know that the only place to find true and everlasting happiness is with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I love Him, and I love His church because it makes me truly happy and makes my life feel whole.

How I live my faith

I play the piano for church meetings and choir. I love being able to connect with people through music and share our talents with one another. I am excited to serve a mission and teach people about Jesus Christ and His love for each of us.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Every Sunday the members in our community get together in a dedicated building and worship the Lord together through hymns and prayer. We teach one another and share our testimonies and experiences to strengthen and encourage and support one another. The main reason we gather is to partake of the sacrament. Worthy priesthood holders bless and pass prepared bread and water to the members. Each member may choose whether or not they wish to partake of the bread and water. We believe the sacrament is a way to remember the Savior and His sacrifice for us and show Him we are willing to keep His commandments. We welcome all visitors and invite them to join us in partaking the sacrament, singing hymns and sharing spiritual experiences. Show more Show less
