Hi I'm Mike

I've grown up in Utah. I love music and learning. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've taken 6 years of music study, mainly percussion. 3 years of marching band. I love to read books, and enjoy High-adventure activities during the summer. I recently graduated high school, and am ready to serve an LDS mission. I have an interest in engineering and design, particularly CAD-3D. I love sci-fi and fantasy, as well as just a good story.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, courtesy of my parents. For a lot of my youth, I have simply done what I was taught, going through the motions, not necessarily considering my faith or the reasons why I lived it. It was later when I encountered some trial in my life that I began to question whether or not I truly believed what I had been taught. As I learned, sought, and prayed, I have come to the conclusion that I truly believe what I have been taught. I bear my testimony that I know Christ lives, and that God is our loving Heavenly Father. He truly wants us to return and live with Him again. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, and restored the fullness of the truth on the earth again. I know that we all can be saved through the Atonement, and be cleansed of our sins. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen

How I live my faith

I have participated in the church's youth program since I was twelve years old. I've been a youth leader in almost every church-affiliated youth group I've been in, helping everyone feel welcome and have a good time. I home teach a few families in my ward with my companion, and I've enjoyed this all so much!
