Hi I'm Trevan Christensen

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah. My parents were divorced when I was 5 years old and I lived with my mother most of my life in Arizona. I have always wanted to serve a mission and now I am living that dream, here in Tonga, a small set of islands fairly close to Fiji and the American Samoa, off the coast of Australia in the Pacific Ocean.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know with all my heart that the LDS church is the true church. For the first few years of my life, my family and I went to church every once in awhile but we weren't active, until the missionaries knocked on our door when I was 7. We lived in a complex with a bunch of townhouses that looked the same. The missionaries intended to go to the next house over, instead they came to our house. It just so happened that the wife of our next door neighbor coincidentally had the same name as my mother, so when my stepfather answered the door, he assumed it was my mother that the missionaries were talking about when they said that Sarah had sent them. He invited them in and that is where it all started. I want to be like those missionaries, changing people's lives for the better.

How I live my faith

I am currently living my faith by serving a full-time mission for two years in Nuku'alofa, Tonga.
