Hi I'm Cameron Ford Findlay

I love basketball. I rebuilt a 1970 Mustang. I'm a Mormon

About Me

Hammocking enthusiast. I won't leave my house without my hammock and everyone in my family knows that. I love adventure and getting outside. I'll go up in the mountains somewhere and find two trees to hang my hammock. I lay in it listening to nature and contemplate the things that are going on in life. It is a way to escape everything. I'm definitely a car addict. I drive a 1970 Mustang that I rebuilt with my Dad. Every time I see an old classic car drive down the street I point it out. I also am a sports addict. I pretty much play and love any sport that uses a ball. By far golf and basketball are my favorite, mostly because I'm really good at them. People say golf is a waste of time but it really is the most difficult and funnest sport of all.

Why I am a Mormon

I was very fortunate enough to be born into the the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love it with all of my heart and I will do everything to protect it. It has brought me only happiness and help when I need it the most. Knowing that Jesus Christ has suffered for every sin, He knows what I am going through and that gives me the strength to overcome what I need to. I want others to have this happiness and comfort. I want them to know that they have a living prophet that guides this church every day. Thomas S. Monson is that man and I love and follow him in every way. I know that Joseph Smith restored this church to the earth and that he gave up his life for all of us. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. It is everything that we believe and people need to know about it and love it like I do. I love temples. The temples that we have in our reach are undoubtedly the most beautiful and spiritual places on earth. I hold temples very close to my heart and want everyone to have a chance to enter into one. I am a Mormon because I want to serve and love others, to serve and love as Jesus Christ did.

How I live my faith

I am a ward missionary. I go around the ward giving messages about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love it because it brings to my attention that being a "Mormon" has blessed their lives so much. I am overwhelmed with joy when I see these families living in peace and happiness. I am also an eagle scout. I have put a lot of work into the community resulting from the scouting program. My biggest service project for scouts was my eagle project. After preparing and cleaning two parking lots by the city offices, I painted hundreds of parking lot stripes. It took 80 man hours to do so and it looked amazing after.
