Hi I'm Tobias

I'm British. I am serving as a full time missionary in the Alpine German-Speaking Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love European history and plan to study it at University. I love being surrounded by nature, and spend a lot of time outdoors. I travel a lot and enjoy visiting new places and seeing new things. "Busking" is probably my favourite hobby. I play guitar and like singing, so me and a friend who plays double bass enjoy playing music together on the street.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are converts and from birth, the Church has always been a part of my life. I lived it and loved it, but when I was a teenager, I realised that it was not enough; I needed to know for myself if it was true. So I did as it says in Moroni 10:4-5. The feeling of comfort and warmth that followed my prayer was like none other that I have ever felt. It was a comfirmation of what I thought but did not know: that this Church is true.

How I live my faith

One of the most important things for me in my life is strengthening my relationship to God. I pray and study the scriptures every day, in order to come closer to him and better understand his plan for me. I think the most important way to live your faith is through helping others. I strive daily to find opportunites to help others. Serving as a Full-time Missionary is the biggest way that I am currently living my faith. I help others by doing service and sharing my experiences with faith, in order to help them to strengthen or find theirs.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Tobias
I can recommend three things, from my own experience: 1. Prayer - communicating to him 2. Reading the witnesses and teachings of his servants - found in Scripture 3. Making him proud - by living in a way that he would like me to Show more Show less
