Hi I'm Anton Hanson

I'm a mormon. I converted to the church at the age of 17, in Bergen Norway, where I've spent most of my life.

About Me

I grew up in a family with my three younger siblings, making me the oldest. I like activities related to running and nature, more specifically mountains and hiking. I also have a lot of love for history. I recently graduated with a bachelor of Fine Arts from The Norwegian Film School, with a specialization in Production. I've always loved organizing, planning, doing the numbers and setting things up, so the opportunity to combine that with my passion for audio-visual storytelling is one of the things I live for. Somewhere beneath the Gospel of course. I am now preparing to serve a full time mission in South Korea.

Why I am a Mormon

I remember when I met the missionaries on the street. We talked a little and they invited me to meet and talk some more about the gospel. My intention was to contradict what they believed, but quite the contrary happened. What I was taught made sense, it was right in things I already had started to question about Christianity. I soon realized that if joining this church was the right thing to do, it would be wrong to not join. I got baptized and went further down the rabbit hole. There were neither talking cats, or magic potions, but the more I've learned about the church the stronger my testimony of it, and my faith in Christ has become.

How I live my faith

I do like pretty much every other mormon does, reading the scripture, praying, go to church on Sundays and so on. I am the only member of my family, but I've been fortunate to be able to join another family for FHE the last couple of years. I also spend a lot of time reading and acquire knowledge regarding the gospel and the world we live in and their relation.
