Hi I'm Jess

I grew up in a little town in Idaho. I'm married to the love of my life. Family comes first! I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a small town where almost everyone knows you and you pretty much know everyone. I recently was sealed to my eternal companion in the Logan Utah LDS temple. We are both attending schools, me online with hopes of receiving a Horticulture degree and my husband doing pilot training. I love being outdoors, playing the piano, hanging out with family, watching movies, and playing volleyball.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always been a Mormon, but I didn't really believe that fact until I was in high school. There were different experiences that helped me to confirm my beliefs. As I return to the temple regularly with my husband, I feel my Savior's love. His love has kept me moving forward in life. I've noticed that when I rely on his strength, I am able to do things I know I couldn't do on my own.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon has helped me to be a better participant in my community. My husband and I are currently called as ward missionaries. We don't get a badge or leave our families like those young men and women that are serving all over the world, but we do try to be a friend to all those around us. We enjoy getting to know our neighbors and sharing our beliefs with them. I've also been a pianist for our church meetings as well as a leader in some of the organizations.
