Hi I'm McKell

I grew up in a small town in Utah. I am currently a full time missionary.

About Me

I grew up for most of my life in Central Utah. I attend a small, 2A where I was involved in cheerleading, songleading, multiple clubs and held various leadership positions. Upon graduating high school, I attended a junior college in Utah where I obtained an associates of science. I love to dance, ride 4 wheelers, and play laser tag.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church for most of my life although my family has not always been active. I never really attended primary because my mom was a single mom trying to make ends meet. She remarried when I was ten to a non-member. Blending a family was difficult and soon my mom wanted to become active again so my sister and I started going with her. My step siblings soon started taking the missionary discussions and were baptized. My step dad was a little more critical though and didn't even want to listen when the missionaries came over. A member came over with the missionaries a few years later and he shared with my step dad his conversion story when he was in his 40's. This softened my step dad's heart enough to listen to the missionaries and eventually be baptized. My step dad's baptism was a huge blessing in our lives. Much of the contention we experienced blending a family disappeared. We found ourselves loving one another more. I love this gospel and all the ways in which it has blessed my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. I love the opportunity my church gives to serve others through callings and encouraging people to be Christlike. I am currently serving as a full time service missionary. I share messaged of the restored gospel and seek to find ways to serve others.
