Hi I'm Samantha

I'm a born and raised Arizona girl who loves photography, art, and laughter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

All my life I've loved in art and writing in some form or fashion. It's in my blood, due to many of my family members being artists. My passion for creativity has turned into many hobbies over the years, but the most current of these hobbies are photography, guitar, piano, drawing and writing. I love spending time with my family and friends. I was home schooled for most of my life due to my brain process not "fitting the mold" so to speak. Being home schooled allowed me to follow my dreams and explore what I want to do in my life and have a very close relationship with my parents. It also allowed me to grow a greater trust in my Savior, due to the fact that I was judged very harshly by my peers for not going to "normal" school. I was told that I was weird and often asked "do you even like it?" Most people didn't realize that it was my choice to be home schooled and I did in fact "like" it. It took many years for me to learn how to brush off the harsh words and judgements, but through the power of the Savior, great friends, and loving parents, I was able to move past and love my life and how I lived it. Now I get to work as a photographer and graphic designer at an engraving company. I love my life and I love the choices I've made and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church with all my heart. It's teachings and truths have kept me steady through any and all time of trials. Through it's activities I have met some of my best friends and amazing people. I love this church, this gospel and Jesus Christ. I know that this church is true. I know it with all of my heart. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it brings peace to a troubled heart. I know that the Book of Mormon can change your life, because it has changed mine.

How I live my faith

As I am a young adult I haven't had many callings in my life. I've served as a president, secretary and several counselor positions in different youth classes. My most recent calling was to spend time with the 10 and 11 year old girls to help them get ready for the Young Women's youth program. Now I am serving the Lord as a full time missionary in the Canada Edmonton mission. I love teaching the gospel and sharing the love of Christ with everyone I can.
