Hi I'm Brandi Meneghini

I love my family, the outdoors, playing water polo, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in Washington really taught me to love the outdoors. I enjoy getting to go camping, hiking, and just spending time outside. Besides spending the majority of my life exploring Washington me and my family spend a lot of time in Oregon and Idaho. Spending Thanksgiving and most summers riding dirt bikes and quads in a variety of locations and states. I've grown up playing just about every sport imaginable. I took to the water the best. Water polo became my passion. Not only do I love playing sports I also love watching sports. Football and Super-Cross in my family is like another religion. Forever and always a 12th fan (Seahawks)

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I have been born and raised a member, I haven't always been converted. Being converted means knowing the gospel is true as much as you know that you are breathing. Being converted didn't happen right away for me. I questioned the gospel a lot growing up. But then I realized that it is true, that God was and is always there for me. Through all my mistakes, injuries, and wrongs that have happened in my life that Jesus was there to lift me when I needed him the most. I am a Mormon because the gospel is simple and I don't know where I would be without it, and the impact it has had on my life. The most important unit in the gospel is family. For me my family has been the closest thing to Christ-like love that I have ever experienced. I wouldn't change them for the world! They have truly showed me what unconditional love, strength, and service look like. No family is prefect, and I know mine isn't an exception to that by a long shot. I do know that through the gospel we can work towards and become the person and family that we strive to be through the fullness that this gospel has.

How I live my faith

For me the gospel is essential, it's just a part of who I am, and who I can become. The best way that I was able to live my faith was to just be an example. I grew up in a small farming town where everybody knew everybody. Along with everyone knowing everyone they also knew who believed in what. I wasn't always outgoing as I would've liked to be about my religion. But now I like to think that the best way to live your religion is through action. My favorite quote says, "Before you can become a leader you must learn to serve, before you can learn to serve you must learn that there are greater things in the world than yourself"

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Brandi Meneghini
As the church says and I truly believe that the family is central to God's plan. We are sealed to one another forever and when we become married we are sealed to our spouse not just for the rest of our time here on earth but for an eternity. Family is where we can find comfort, love, and support. I know that I wouldn't be where I am today without my family and the role that they have played in my life. Show more Show less
