Hi I'm Ellen

I grew up in Washington DC and lived overseas. I am a student at BYU, and soon to be missionary in Hungary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Throughout my life I have moved around several times; my parents always had a home in Maryland right outside DC, but we also moved to Japan, Singapore, and Dubai. Living overseas was an incredible experience from which I have learned and grown so much. I am a student at BYU-Provo and have loved every minute of it! The professors and academics are amazing and the social scene is perfect. I am going to be a missionary for the church in Hungary Budapest, for which I am super stoked! In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, baking, swimming, and doing anything outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know without a doubt in my soul that this is the only true church. I love the doctrine and principles we are taught and the logical that is evident in the teachings. Everything about the gospel brings me happiness and the atonement gives me solace for my future. I am a Mormon because I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and I know this church is true; I am a Mormon because I want to continually have everlasting happiness and an eternal life with my loved ones.

How I live my faith

Throughout my life I have always been an active member of the church. While I was in Young Women's I loved leading my fellow sisters and supporting them in whatever they needed. Being Relief Society has been amazing too, helping my fellow sisters has always been a priority and a pleasure of mine. Going to church activities has always been enjoyable for me and I hope others see them as so too.
