Hi I'm Alex

I'm from Hawaii, I love photography and the outdoors, I'm currently in Sapporo Japan as a missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm way into nature photography, camping, hiking and just about anything that involves the outdoors, overcast skies, tall mountains and thick forests. I graduated high school in '15 and have been at BYU Idaho studying Neuroscience since then. I love studying how the mind works, and it's my dream to eventually assist in designing advanced prosthetics. Big fan of anything retro. I have a passion for music of all sorts, but I have a soft spot for classical... I've been playing violin since I was ten, and I think orchestral instruments are just so awesome and beautiful. I'll be serving in the great land of Japan as a full-time missionary in the Japan Sapporo Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it helps me to come closer to God. This church has allowed me and my family to receive so much joy in our lives. I love my family, and am grateful of the fact that I'll be able to spend the rest of eternity with them even after this life. Having faith in Christ and His Atonement has blessed my life in so many ways.

How I live my faith

I've had quite a few roles and responsibilities in the church. The most recent being a secretary for our ward's Sunday school, which allowed me to keep track of member attendance. I have also had the opportunity to plan activities, meet on representative boards and assist in leading my peers. I am now showing my love for the gospel by serving a two year mission, dedicating every second of my life to serving others.
