Hi I'm Kaeti

I grew up in the small town of Tillamook, Oregon. I am working on my degree in Health Care Administration. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in a large family where I was the oldest of six. Our family was pretty tight knit and we always loved doing things together such as running, hiking, camping and watching films. I love the outdoors and doing anything from yard work to running and rafting. Being healthy and staying fit has always been a passion in of mine as well as serving others. My passion for helping others and staying healthy has also leaked into my love for education. Currently I am a college student working on my Bachelors in Healthcare Administration. I would love to someday work with and help run humanitarian and non-profit organizations.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. But whether your born into the church or find it by other means you are asked to search for yourself to know that it is true. The church asks you to go to the Lord in prayer questioning the whether it is true or not, and to receive your own personal witness of it’s truth. That’s what I have always loved about the church. They don’t want you to just believe what they are saying is true, but they want you to know for yourself. When I was younger I believed with all my heart that the Church was true, but I didn’t just want to believe, I wanted to know. I remember I was attending an EFY and all week I worked on ways to feel the spirit whether by studying the scriptures or serving a friend. By the end of the week we were given the chance to bear our testimonies. I was sitting in my chair thinking about my goal to gain my own knowledge and testimony of the Church. In that moment I decided to say a prayer and sincerely ask the Lord if the Church was true. Almost suddenly I felt very strange, but good, feeling in my heart. The feeling was so powerful and almost indescribable, and I knew for myself that the Church was true. Without entirely knowing, I had been preparing myself that whole week to receive the powerful answer that I had, and I now I can say without a doubt that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day by doing my best to be an example of Christ to those around me. I show my example through service, and love those around me as the children of God that they are.
