Hi I'm Allison

I've grown up in a very diverse community. I am from a large family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student as well as a soon to be sister missionary. My father is a first generation member and my mother is from a part member family. They married in the temple and had seven children. I have attended four semesters at college. I am studying to be a social worker. I enjoy music and have learned to play the cello and had an opportunity to share my music with many countries.

Why I am a Mormon

There was a time in my life where I doubted myself and my faith. I questioned the choices I was making and why I was making them. I stopped praying and reading and I felt alone in the world. For months this went on until one day I finally found it in myself that the church was the right path and it always will be; nothing could be worth compromising my faith. I know now as I did then that families are forever that this mortal existence isn't the only life I will live. I know that he loves me and he has loved me and been there for me even when I didn't expect him to be there for me.

How I live my faith

Faith is the most important thing to me. Faith is what gets me through hard days. I know that if I can read and pray daily that I will feel the Spirit guide my actions. I live the teachings of the prophets and set examples to my friends. I show kindness to all of those around me. I follow in Christ's footsteps and I love as he did.
