Hi I'm Jacqueline

I'm a missionary. I'm a Soldier. I love ping pong. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just completed my first year of college. My major is Aviation and I have hopes of becoming a private pilot. I grew up in Texas, but I am studying in Utah. My junior year of high school, I had the amazing opportunity to live in southern Germany for a year as a foreign exchange student. I love the German language and I love the people of Germany. A week after I graduated from high school, I left for Air Force basic training and competed my technical training as an optometry technician. Some of my hobbies are soccer, ping pong (I had the opportunity to play competitively in Germany). I learned the cello growing up, a bit of the guitar. I enjoy chess even though I loose pretty often. I love spending my time outdoors biking, playing sand volleyball, hiking, and jogging. I am now serving in the Japan Fukuoka Mission and am loving every moment of it. I am falling in love the Japanese language and people too. I am learning so much and I am so extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve my Savior Jesus Christ amoung the wonderful people in Japan.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and I am so grateful fo It. I feel blessed to have known of God's presence my whole life. I love the memories I have of primary and young women's. Sometimes I feel I had it too easy. My parents are both amazing, righteous people who raised me with strong standards. When I was in Germany, I learned to really appreciate the times I got to go to church and take the sacrament again. The sister missionaries were some of my favorite people there. They were always so cheerful and happy to see me. They were so kind to me and made me feel comfortable there at the beginning when my German wasn't as good. I looked forward to going to church a few times a month and seeing them and being closer to my Savior. Even in these moments of weakness, I had grown up with the knowledge that I could always turn to the Lord for help which I was able to put to the test in Germany. I am so grateful for this Gospel and for love and safety I feel when I am at church. I love my Lord and Savior and know that he is always there for me in times of need. I am so excited to be able to share my knowledge and love of my Savior to the people of Japan. I am currently in the MTC and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to grow closer to my Savior.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission for the church in Fukuoka Japan. Having grown up in the church, I know joy and happiness the church can bring to people, and I want to share that with others. I feel it an honor to serve and I do it willingly. God has given me so much and this is a small time I can give to the Lord in return for everything he's given me.
