Hi I'm Jacqueline

Im a Missionary, Table Tennis player, and a language fanatic. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love being active, playing sports, traveling, and learning languages. I love doing these things with my family. My parents encouraged the best learning in our home and I'm sure that's what encouraged me to become a foreign exchange student in Germany when I was sixteen. I grew to love all kinds of people, languages, and of course, Ping Pong. I'm a US Air Force Reservist. I love my job and the adventures it allows me to have. I served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Japan Fukuoka Mission, but was reasigned to the California Los Angeles Mission. That's where I am now, doing the same work that I love so much. There's no where else I'd rather be.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up Mormon was really fun, but I did have my ups and downs. I had to work to learn for myself if it was all true and if I was doing it for myself. Everything I learned from my parents and leaders seemed so good and I could not deny that by following their guidance and Christ's example, I would become a better person. As I had opportunities to live away from home a few times as a youth and as a young adult, my values and traditions were oftentimes tested, but I had found a strong love for my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Book of Mormon early on in my life and I knew it was true. I cannot deny it. I am a child of God, Jesus loves me so much, and the Book of Mormon is the most correct book on the Earth. It's a simple, yet life changing belief that I believe everyone needs to hear.

How I live my faith

I try to be more like Jesus Christ everyday. I try to be better and more diligent. I try to be more obedient and more loving. It's hard sometimes and I'm never spot on. But God loves us and He has given us Jesus Christ to look to as an example. So I try to imagine what I would do if Jesus were standing next to me. I try to study His life and His teachings by reading the scriptures. I try to do what He has asked by being obedient, because obedience brings so many blessings. I try to share with others the happiness that I have felt. I want others to know the same joy that my family and I have felt because of the gospel.
