Hi I'm Shohei Yoshida

Hello. I'm Shohei. I grew up in Tokyo, Japan. I used be a Buddhist but I converted to this church in 2013.

About Me

I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. I'm a convert. I got baptized in 2013. I used to be Buddhist. I love to listen to Music in English, so I studied English in my college.

Why I am a Mormon

I met missionaries right before I graduated from my college. I was not interested in church at all. But I had an experience that made me humble. As I was going through the hard time, I just realized that I couldn't do anything by myself. Then I rememberd what my missionary friends told me. So I prayed. I prayed for the first time in my life. I still remember I felt something strong in my heart. Somehow I learned that everything would be alright. It was a little bit strange because I felt like it came from outside of my body. It was very clear that it was not my thought. I couldn't deny my feeling so I decided get baptized soon after it happened. Now I'm preparing to serve a mission. I'm very excited to share my message to other people. I truly believe that this gospel can make a change in your life. And it's a very good change.

How I live my faith

I'm a ward missionary in my church. I love to work with missionaries. I feel the spirit the most when I am around them and sharing our message with other people. Nothing could be happier than seeing people change.
