Hi I'm Sabrina

Wellness & lifestyle passionate. Entrepreneur & full time mom. Living in Nashville with my husband & 4 active kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah, moved around a bit in my younger years to Texas and California, ultimately settled back in Utah by the time I was 7. I am thankful for the strong LDS community that surrounded me at the time during my youth years that were difficult, challenging and trying for me. It helped me to experience, learn and come to know for myself who I ultimately wanted to be and how I wanted to live my life. I met my loving husband in my college years, we dated for 18 months then we're sealed and married in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity. We have 4 active, beautiful children, 2 boys and 2 girls. They are my whole world, they are why my heart beats for goodness and life. This is when is when I am the happiest, when I am spending time with my family..we enjoy family adventures, movie nights, beach trips and just being together. They keep me extremely busy with sports, dance, piano, scouts, gymnastics...the list goes on! I also own an online retail site selling women's clothing and accessories, it is consistent and brings me satisfaction in hard work, pursuing hobbies and expanding my talents. I strive to live a healthy lifestyle, by exercising daily and eating clean. I thoroughly enjoy trying new things, my mind is constantly racing with new ideas and ventures to pursue. I love people, I am defintiely a social person who loves to be active and hang out with friends. I grow and yearn to learn to better myself each day, this is the fun part of the journey!

Why I am a Mormon

I made a decision long ago in my late teen years that I wanted to life a live with purpose, meaning and joy. I knew the church had always brought me happiness, things I learned by my parents and church leaders growing up. But like most of us, I reached a point in my life where my agency was very much curious. I had been praying for comfort and truth of this Gospel, that I could know for myself. One evening while studying the Book of Mormon, the holy ghost began to burn in my soul, I felt a deep meaning and truth resonating in my heart, and that Heavenly Father loves me, he knows ME. Mormons live good lives, love family, love healthy living, love hard work, love helping others, love honesty, love prayer, love family history, and most importantly love Jesus Christ, he is the centre of our religion. This is how I live my faith, by doing all these things and enjoying the journey along the way. Being a Mormon is not just a Sunday religion, it is a daily commitment. Committing to myself and my family that I strive to be a better person each day, to honor the covenants I have made with Heavenly Father and serve others as the lord emulated. I love attending church functions to strengthen relationships with the ward family. It strengthens my relationship with God and Jesus Christ, about how to be a better person and example in my community. One way to help keep our faith strong in our home, to keep us unified is family night on Monday nights, called Family Home Evening. We spend time talking about our week, reading scriptures, followed by an activity, often involving treats! At the end of the night we each say one nice thing that we love about each other; it's their favorite part. This makes our home a much happier place. A wonderful part of the Mormon faith is the belief that we will be together as a family beyond this life, for eternity. This belief gives me even more determination to live my faith daily by being the best mom, wife, sister, daughter and friend I can be.

How I live my faith

We all set examples, to everyone around us. I strive to be impactful and radiate goodness and hope to others. It's a choice, but it comes from deep within, a love and respect I have for the Savior. I teach once a month in the women's class on Sunday. I think it teaches me much more than anyone listening, it is hugely rewarding. I am also a ward missionary, this helps me to be aware and looking for others needs around me at church. Additionally for those who or less active in our ward family or nonmembers around my community each day. It's not just a way to live here and there, it truly is how I live my life, it brings me so much peace and happiness when I live clean and honor my covenants I made with Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is absolutely true. I know that the Savior Jesus Christ is the head of this Church and in him I can place my trust and faith. Being a Mormon to me means putting my family first, and creating bonds with them that will last into the eternities. Being a Mormon to me means that I strive to follow my Savior Jesus Christ and all that that encompasses. Being a Mormon to me means sacrifice of temporal things for things of a much greater nature. It means everything to me because of the true peace and joy it brings into my life and for that I am so incredibly grateful.
