Hi I'm Glory Lim

I was born in Singapore, grew up in the States. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with 3 older sisters. I love service, in any means of helping people I will do it. I always look forward to seeing the smilies and joy in people's faces when they are helped. I am done many service projects during High School and continued when I am in BYU. Right now as I am preparing for my mission, I am volunteering at the Local Pantry.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were converts and they were married in the LDS Laie Hawaii temple in 1983. So all my sisters including I was born into the covenant. I can tell you how grateful I am to have my parents married in the temple. They not only set an example that day but have continuous set an example to me in living my life in the gospel. I am grateful for the Lord being so generous to me. I know it must be hard to be born out of the gospel. I will never be able to relate to someone since I don't have the experience, but I just imagine myself lost in utter darkness and being scared out of my mind. I know that finding the truth is hard especially if you have a group of people telling you that you're heading in the wrong direction. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ loves each and everyone of us. He will bless us, help us, and find us.

How I live my faith

I am currently a missionary for the LDS church serving in the Taipei, Taiwan.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Glory Lim
That's the thing Mormons help EVERYBODY! This is why I love the gospel so much because God tells and teaches us to love each and everyone, after all we are all brothers and sisters. Someone once said, " In the event of a disaster I will want to be with the Mormons because they will be always there helping, caring, and loving to the people in need." Show more Show less
