Hi I'm Pilar

I'm a man who will follow the faith of his heart till the end of days. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up my first 18 years of life in Mexico. I got baptized to the church in June of 2000. I have served in the military of Mexico and USA. I love cooking, working out, learning, teaching, working on the computers, and maintaining my faith beyond my limits. I enjoy going for walks, just for the cause of it. I really like to figure it out how i should be, but right now the most import part of my life is that I have given myself to God to guide through every day activity. I know that is not easy to come out and to talk about myself in the open, but I have to start on looking forward to coming back to Church. I know, you might be thinking "coming back to church." About 14 years ago I fallen out of Church, but now that I have repented and ask God for guidance, He has shown me where to go and where I need to be at. Thank you God. I have been talking with the Missionaries at the Visitor Center located right behind the Los Angeles Temple. I have been blessed to know and meet several Missionaries that have shown me the extended love of Our Lord. I still remember and named all the Missionaries who have helped me to come back and to get more involved in Church, and I pray to Our Lord for the best things that He has bless me with.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I got my answers of the most difficult questions that nobody else could show me or even understand what I was trying to learn before my time comes for me to go back to God. I know that there is people out there might be looking, but "if you ask you shall receive." That is what God told me through the Holy Spirit, which they guide now more than ever since I have repented from the heart and I seek the true of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

At the moment the way I live my faith is by reading the Bible, the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price. I like to learn how I can teach others the things that I study and how to communicate with others what the Gospel is telling me. I know that it is not easy to make it happen right away, but by praying and following what the Holy Spirit is telling I can pretty much show others that whatever I am learning it can be useful to them too. I keep a once week lesson meeting with the Missionaries, who have shown me how the work that we choose could be the one that was design for us from Our Lord. I am thankful to keep working towards a better day and to keep working to grow my testimony of Our Savior and Our Father God, who send messages through the Holy Spirit to guide me and show the path to follow and walk.
