Hi I'm Kaylynn

I'm a student at Utah State University. I love water, West Virginia, people, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Idaho with my wonderful parents, three little brothers, and two dogs. I have been blessed with the best family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors who all helped shape me into who I am. I'm serving in the Charleston, West Virginia mission and I love it so much! Before my mission I attended Utah State University, I worked as an optician and technician at an eye doctor's office, I sang a lot, and I was on swim team for 6 years! Summer time is my favorite time! Get me some people and some water and it'll be a good time guaranteed!

Why I am a Mormon

My amazing parents taught me and helped me learn about the teachings of the church. They always did the little things like family home evening, family prayer, family scriptures study, and family council. I know my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are two different beings that love and understand me perfectly. I know that the same priesthood that Christ had when he was on the earth has been restored. I know that Joseph Smith's role in restoring this gospel was important and I look to his example of faith throughout my life. I know we have a living prophet today, Thomas S. Monson, who loves us and leads us with the spirit. I love the Book of Mormon, and I'm grateful for the knowledge it brings to me. I'm a Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me find peace and strength when times get tough.

How I live my faith

My family always says "remember who you are and what you stand for" before anyone leaves the house. I live my faith by trying to keep the commandments! As I love God and love those around me I am happy, and that's why God created us, to be happy! I'm currently serving in the West Virginia Charleston mission and I wouldn't be doing this if I wasn't 100% certain that Christ's church has been restored to the earth once more.
