Hi I'm Jared Lubin

I am a missionary, I serve in the St. George, Utah Mission, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I lived outside of Atlanta for the first 15 years of my life before moving to the suburbs of Pittsburgh. I loved athletics and gaming in high school and was on my high school's rowing team. As of August 29th, 2016 I will be a full-time missionary serving in St. George, Utah and speaking Spanish. I know that the road ahead of me won't be easy but I am looking forward to my mission and both the good times and hard times that will come with it.

Why I am a Mormon

The easy reason for why I'm a Mormon is that I was born into a Mormon family. Both of my parents converted to Mormonism when they were in college, and they raised me in their beliefs. However, I did have to find out for myself whether or not the things that I had been told since I was a child were true. But after much prayer and studying of both the Bible and the Book of Mormon, the Holy Ghost testified to me that they were in fact true. I could not deny that testimony, and I have not looked back since.

How I live my faith

In my opinion, everyone lives their faith differently and there is no right or wrong way. If you are living worthily of having the Holy Ghost with you, then you are living your faith perfectly. I try to keep the Holy Ghost as my companion as much as possible. However I, like everyone else, am unable to do this 100% of the time. But I know that no matter what happens, my Father in Heaven, his Son, and the Holy Ghost will love and support me.
