Hi I'm Chandler

I'm a Mormon, I live in Lindon, Utah and I like to sing

About Me

I like to play tennis. I am attending Utah State University in 2 years after my LDS mission. I have been called to serve in the Massachusetts Boston mission for 2 years and am very excited to serve!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but it wasn't until about a year ago that I finally gained my true knowledge and conversion if all these things were true. I attended a youth program in our church called EFY. This particular EFY was in Palmyra, New York, which was where the Prophet Joseph Smith had his first vision and saw God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. Also where Joseph received the golden plates which he translated into the Book of Mormon. There I gained true knowledge that Joseph Smith was a prophet of god and that he did translate those ancient records into the Book of Mormon and did see Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in the flesh. I also know that Jesus Christ suffered for every one of our sins and being in this church with that knowledge and knowing how to take advantage of that atonement, being able to receive forgiveness for my sins and able to feel my saviors love as i suffer pain or guilt. I know that the greatest and purest happiness I have ever received has come from this church and continues to come through this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It is the truest and greatest church on this earth and I know that if those who are searching for truth come to Christ and pray to know where to find that truth, they will be led here because it is Christ's church restored on this earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to focus all my thoughts on Christ. This includes desiring to be like him and thanking him and my Heavenly Father for all the blessings I receive daily. Although I fail to focus all my thoughts on Christ, it really helps me keep my mind on the straight and narrow and my heart in the right place so that I am worthy to receive those blessings.
