Hi I'm Annie Burnham

I sing, play the piano, I love to read, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a licensed cosmetologist, and a sophomore at Arizona State University. I'm studying Family and Human Development and love it! I am the youngest of 7 children; I have 5 brothers and 1 sister. I'm also an aunt to 5 nephews and 2 nieces who like to keep my whole family on their toes! I love my family and consider them to be my best friends! I love being outdoors and having adventures. I love music, snacks, and Disney movies.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I'm a Mormon because, primarily, I know it's true. I could not have this knowledge of the true church and not be a member, because I know that's not what God wants. He has given me a beautiful gift called the gospel, and I want to get the most out of it as I can! That means that I was baptized, and now I live the commandments. The second reason I'm a Mormon is because of the great joy it brings to me! I have hope in a better world to come, in personal improvement, and being free of guilt. When I pray and give thanks to our Heavenly Father, I feel hope for the future, and I feel him close to me. Knowing that I have a perfect, infinitely loving Father makes it easier for me to go through hard things, because I know that God won't let me fail. Everything I go through will be for my good in the end. I love my Savior and Heavenly Father, and I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love going to church! I attend a young single adult ward, which means that all the members of my ward are un-married men and women between the ages of 18-30. There are activities every Monday night for family home evening that I was in charge of for a year before I was released from that calling. This was because as of November 16th, 2016, I will be a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I will be serving in Taiwan, and I am so excited for this opportunity to more fully express my faith every day and bring others unto Him. I will be able to devote a full year and a half to being obedient and faithful without any worldly distractions! I am so excited to bring the knowledge of a loving Savior to my brothers and sisters in Taiwan.
