Hi I'm Helaman Rodriguez

I live in Utah. I will be a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Some things I like to do for fun is; I like to go for long and short hikes. I have hiked the second tallest mountain in Utah and other mountains as well. I like to play sports, especially basketball and ping pong. I like to be with friends and family. I like to be around people and I like to have fun. I enjoy being outside and I like watching the sunset. I like clear blue skies and like it when it rains as well. I've been in three different countries and I have traveled from the west coast to the East coast in the U.S. I've done a little bit of everything but if there is one thing that makes me most happy, it is being part of The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

A reason why I am a member of this church is because of my mom and dad. They were converted to the gospel because some missionaries of the LDS or Mormon church came to their house and taught them about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know the gospel is true. I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. Not just because my parents have told me it is true but it is because of The Book of Mormon. I have read The Book of Mormon from beginning to end and I know that the book is true. I have felt the spirit testify to me that it is true. I have prayed to know the truth. Read Moroni 10:3-5 from The Book of Mormon and read the book from beginning to end and you can know the truth as well. It will change your life and He can change you from bad to good, and good to better. That's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I like to be a help to other people but it can be hard sometimes. I try to help my family and friends the best I can. I am more happy when other people are happy. I visit a rehabitation center in my town and I enjoy visiting them. They do not have a lot of visitors but I like to stop in once in a while and give them some company. I have known those people for more than 8 months now. Sometimes I feel like they give more to me than I do to them. I have a church calling. It's called hometeaching. I visit families in my church and I see how they are doing. If they need help with anything then I will help.
