Hi I'm Kaleb Duke

Adopted from the Marshall Islands. Raised by a single Mom. Called to serve in Papua New Guinea, Port Moresby. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in the Marshall Islands and adopted when I was not quite five months old. I love meeting new people, snowboarding, playing the drums, throwing discus and javelin and eating almost all food. I received my Eagle in scouting when I was 14 and recently graduated from high school and seminary. I recently received the Melchezdek Priesthood in preparation for my biggest adventure yet, which is my call to serve in Papua New Guinea.

Why I am a Mormon

I want to bear my testimony that our Savior loves us and wants us to someday return home to Him, I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true living prophet in this dispensation. I know that families can live together forever. I know that the prophet Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he translated the Book of Mormon with the power of God.

How I live my faith

I have served as the deacon's and teacher's quorum presidents, I was active in scouting and served as patrol leader and helped the cub scouts after I received my Eagle. I have taught portions of Young Men's lessons, I am a home teacher and recently I became part of the elder's quorum and have been helping people move. I live in a ward that provides lots of opportunities for service and I particularly enjoy bringing the sacrament to the older people that aren't able to come to church and those in the hospital, and collecting fast offerings. Both have given me great opportunities to get to know more about people's lives whether they are members or not. I like learning more about my neighbors.
