Hi I'm Chris

"I love golf, college football and hanging out with my family of 41 and counting. I'm a Mormon!"

About Me

I am a husband, father of three boys, brother of nine siblings and uncle to 22 nieces and nephews. I love working on my golf game and chasing for my next best score. I look forward to every single fall so I can watch my favorite college football team.

Why I am a Mormon

Admittedly I grew up in a Mormon family so I was taught from a very young age to believe. My upbringing influenced me in becoming a Mormon. However, I have come to know for myself that the Mormon church is the restored church of Jesus Christ and that it teaches the full gospel on the earth today. I believe our Heavenly Father wants each of us to ask him in genuine prayer if this is his church and then to earnestly apply its teachings and if we do he will reveal to our hearts its truthfulness. I have done this and know in my heart that it is His church. I have found no better resource for helping me and my family live a wholesome, happy life than to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ taught through his true church here on the earth: The Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints.... The Mormon church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to keep close to my Heavenly Father through personal prayer and scripture study and by serving others. During a two year period in my life I lived in Uruguay where I was able to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ to others. I get the opportunity to visit and teach two great families who live in my neighborhood through an assignment I received in the LDS church. I also spend every Tuesday with young men ages 12-13 as a mentor and friend. For them our goal is to teach how to become good husbands, fathers and men who contribute to society in a positive way. I love Jesus Christ and depend upon him in all that I do. I strive to do my best to live as He would live and treat others as He would treat them.
