Hi I'm Andrew Jouffray

I was born in France, grew up in "Ile de la Reunion" and I currently live in Utah, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 19 years old soon to be missionary, I will leave on October 26th 2016. I love computers, I want to study computer engineering, and work in robotics. I also love to learn, anything that I can learn I will try to do so!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, my father is a convert, and my mother's father is a convert. My brothers, my parents and my maternal grand father are the only members of my family. I never had a real testimony until I was 15 years old. And I cannot explain why or how, but I was listening to a lesson about the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and I knew it was true. That feeling of peace, understanding and happiness hit me real hard. And ever since I have tried my best to follow the example of Jesus Christ, and love the people around me.

How I live my faith

I love the church with all my heart, in preparation to my mission I have been called as a ward missionary. I love this calling, because I can share what I know and show support to the people of my ward that are in need. And service I my favorite thing to do with the church.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Andrew Jouffray
The atonement is a topic that is very hard to understand at first. What happened is that God wanted us to be able to have free will and learn from our mistakes, But justice requires the sinners to die for their sins, which would make it impossible of us to learn form our mistakes, therefore we could not have free will. But Jesus Christ deiced to come down tom earth and take all of our sins and die for all of us, so that we could have the privileged of making our own choices and learning from our mistakes without dying because of them.
