Hi I'm Jessica

I am a soon to be missionary. I am studying psychology and communications at Southern Utah University. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying psychology and communications. I hope to use that degree to get into law school someday. I am preparing to serve the people of Wisconsin for 18 months and I couldn't be more excited. I absolutely loving baking cookies and eating yummy food! I love playing all kinds of sports and have recently fell in love with golfing! I also love the performing arts and love to see art in any form.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know that it is true. I have looked into a decent number of alternive religions and they all missed small elements of what I know is important. I personally am Mormon because through this religion, I am able to be the happiest possible.

How I live my faith

I have served in a number of roles in my wards both at college and back at home. Currently I get to teach and work with the Mia Maids (or young women between the ages of 14 and 16.) I love it! They teach me so much and we have a blast together. I also have loved teaching in my college ward because every time, I was in charge of a lesson I ended up learning so much. Overall in life, I try to live my faith by trying to be like Jesus. I really try to treat others with kindness and respect. Also I think that watching my language as well as being selective in which movies and shows I watch has been a way I try to show my faith.
