Hi I'm Brennen T. Martell

I was born in Maryland, but was raised in Mississippi and Montana. I play jazz saxophone. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 18 years old, and I enjoy playing jazz saxophone, reading books, composing music, and hiking with family and friends. I'm going to serve a mission in the Gilbert, Arizona area before attending college at either BYU or BYU-Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both members of the church, and I was raised in the truth. However, this is not the reason I'm going on a mission and why I love the gospel. While they certainly helped, it is MY decision to remain a member of the church and to serve a mission. I love our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost for all the many things they done for us. I know that the true Gospel of Christ has been fully restored to the Earth, and that Joseph Smith truly was a latter-day prophet of God. I also testify of our current apostles and how they are truly men of our Heavenly Father. I also have a testimony on having your own testimony, and not relying on the faith of others. And last, I have a testimony on the Grace of our Heavenly Father, and that he truly wants us to be with him, that is why we have the Plan of Salvation.

How I live my faith

As a youth, I had the opportunity to have several callings including several leadership roles in the youth program, a home teacher, Ward Organist, and Ward Choir Pianist.
