Hi I'm Emily

I've grown up in Pleasant Grove, Utah. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love anything to do with the outdoors especially when I am with family. the outdoors, sports, basketball was my favorite, and I played it all throughout high school. I graduated from high school just this year (2016), and I plan on going to school when I return home from my mission

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but I am still a Mormon because I developed a testimony of my Savior, Jesus Christ, and I know that he suffered, bled, and died for me so that I can return to Him again. The atonement is real. Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon, that's real. The Book of Mormon is the word of God, and it is essential to study, read, and know. I know who my Savior is. I know, that he was a refugee, he was betrayed, denied, accused, rejected, bound, scourged, mocked, reviled, spit on, crucified, and forsaken. And yet, He did His Father's will. He atoned, He healed, He blessed and taught others, He held His peace, He forgave, and He gave His life for each and every one of us. And last of all, I know that He is risen. I know that my Savior lives. I know that He did all of these things so that we could all return to Him again, and I am so grateful for that. I love him with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I was the president in all of my young women's classes. I try to serve others as much as I can. I read my scriptures and say my prayers. I attend all of my church meetings every week. I attend the temple weekly, or as much as I can! And I leave for the London, England mission in November! And I am beyond excited to serve the people, and to share the Gospel with them!!
