Hi I'm Breanna Davis

I love ice cream, summer and being around children. I am a Mormon!

About Me

Hi my name is Breanna, I grew up in Arizona. My parents divorced when I was ten years old which resulted in me moving to Utah with my mom. I recently graduated from High school. I took many Child development courses. I also took three years of Sign Language. I am preparing to go on a mission. I was recently called to serve the people in Ohio, Cleveland. I cant be more excited! Right now I am working at a daycare with two year olds. It is so fun to teach and play with them. I love little children because they are so sweet. When I get home from my mission I am going to go to school to hopefully become a children's counselor. I hope to be a mother some day. I love the Church of Jesus Christ with all of my heart. I am so happy to be a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Latter-Day Saint but I didn't really gain my testimony until I was about fifteen years old. When I was fifteen I started to question everything that I had learned in church. I started to feel as if Heavenly Father was really there, and if He was then I wondered if he even cared about me and knew who I was. At the time i didn't really care to ask Him if He was there. As time went on I began to feel more and more depressed. I cried every night. I started to share my feelings about everything to one of my old church leaders. Over and over she would tell me that I needed to find a quiet spot and just talk to Heavenly Father. She told me that I needed to ask if he was there and then tell him what I had been feeling. She told to me that I needed to talk to him as if he were right in front of me. Me, being stubborn didn't do this for about two weeks. Finally I did it one late November night. I remember it being so so cold outside. I ignored that feeling and knelt down on the grass. I told Heavenly Father everything that I had been feeling and how I didn't know if he was really there. I remember a feeling of peace, joy, and warmth that filled my soul. It suddenly felt like if was a summer night. I immediately knew that He was there and that he did care about me. I knew that everything that I had learned in church was true! This is the true church of Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith did translate the Book of Mormon with the help and guidance from Heavenly Father. I know that we have a prophet today who receives revelation from God. I know that I am loved by Heavenly father. He knows me and cares about me. Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of Heavenly Father. I know that Jesus suffered for our sins, transgressions, heartaches, and trials. I know that I am a daughter of God. I love this church with all of my heart. I am so grateful to have the wonderful opportunity to be member of Jesus' church.

How I live my faith

How I have lived and am living my faith.. I had several callings when I was in the Young Women's program. I was second counselor in the of the twelve and thirteen years old presidency, when I was that age. I was then president of the fourteen and fifteen year old presidency. When I moved to the sixteen and seventeen years olds I was first counselor in that presidency. I have since the graduated from the Young Women's Program and I am now a teacher for the four year old class in primary. I have made it important to me to dress modestly everywhere I go. I read my scriptures multiple times a day. I love to talk with God no matter where I am. I love going to church! And soon I will be a full-time missionary!
