Hi I'm Kendrik

I grew up in St. George, Utah. I was involved in student government, choir, track, cross country, and theater. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love service. I am a missionary in the California, Oakland/San Francisco mission. My family is very important to me. In high school I was in student body council and many clubs including interact (service) club, drama club, HOSA (health organization) club, NHS (National Honor Society) club, and participated in track and cross country. Throughout high school I was involved in the technical aspect of the plays. I am an Eagle Scout. I love the scouting program and the support it provides for boys maturing into men. The gospel of Jesus Christ is so important to me.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel brings me so much joy. There are many times where without the peace and preparation I've had from obeying commandments and keeping covenants that I could be completely lost. I have faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ. I know He lives and that we can be forgiven of our sins and saved through his infinite and eternal sacrifice, the Atonement. I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel. I know Joseph Smith restored the true church of Jesus Christ here on the Earth in these latter days. I know that we have a living prophet on the Earth today, Thomas S. Monson. Through his counsel I have been protected from things that could have been harmful to my physically and spiritually. I know the Book of Mormon contains a record of the people who lived on this the American continent anciently and I know that everything written in it happened and is true. I have a testimony of prayer. I know Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. He has answered mine every single time. The answer may not always be in the way I would like or that I expect but every single time there is an answer. I love the Gospel and the pure joy I have through living its teachings.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings throughout my teenage years including Deacons Quorum President, Teachers Quorum President, and Priests Quorum first and second assistant. I was also on Stake Youth Council where I learned a lot about counseling with others and compromising fairly even when there are conflicting opinions or ideas. I had many opportunities to serve in my various callings from things as simple as taking out the trashes in the church building to planning and carrying out a Stake Trek.
