Hi I'm Heath

I was born in Idaho. I am the second oldest of four children. I've been assigned to serve as an LDS missionary in the Philippines.

About Me

I am 18 years old and a 2016 high school graduate. Currently I am preparing to serve an LDS (Mormon) mission in the Philippines. I will serve the Lord for two years speaking the Cebuano language. I have two brothers and one sister. I love traveling with my family, meeting new people, and making memories with my friends. My friends and family are most important to me. I love singing, playing the ukulele and piano. I was a member of my high school's varsity choir for three years. I love the friendships I have made through music and singing.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints blesses my life every day. I love the knowledge that I gain from being a member of His church. It has taught me that he knows me by name. I know that I am a child of God. I know that I am his son. I know that if I live Christ's teachings I will be resurrected with my family and we will be together forever. I love the Bible and the Book of Mormon. They both testify of truth. I know them both to be the word of God. I am a Mormon because I have faith in Jesus Christ and believe in his teachings.

How I live my faith

For the next two years of my life I will be a servant of the Lord. I will live in the Philippines and teach people about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Ultimately I believe in leading by example. The smallest acts of kindness make the biggest difference.
