Hi I'm Kaili

I grew up in British Columbia, Canada and am the eldest of five kids. I love music and roller coasters, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to think that I am a Jack of all trades, master of... very few. I am a certified scuba diver, amateur artist, and I play the piano, ukulele, and a bit of guitar. I love music, especially harmony. I love anything that is an adventure and fully admit that I was more scared to take my college entrance exams than go skydiving -which was absolutely amazing-; my sister tells me in the wise words of Ron Weasley, that I need to sort out my priorities. *grin* I love to laugh and be silly but I also love to work hard and be as successful as I can for what ever I put my hand to. Currently -sort of- I'm a student studying Elementary Education with minors in Teaching English as a Second Language and Music. My greatest joy lies in helping people and right now I am serving a mission for my church. One of my goals in life in to volunteer at the elephant reserve and rehabilitation center in Thailand.

Why I am a Mormon

Because it's real! Because this church is true! I have prayed and struggled and wanted to know with all my heart if this church is God's church and received my answer. I have felt His witness. I'm a Mormon because the peace and love and happiness I feel here, I can't feel anywhere else. It is through the doctrine and teachings of this church that I have come to know who God and Jesus Christ are. They are my family. God is My Heavenly Father who loves me and cares about me. He wants me to be happy. Jesus Christ is my brother who loved me enough to take on all of my sins, all of my pains, my sickness, and trials so that when I am having difficulties, I can turn to Him and find peace. He didn't have to do that; but He did. I feel His love for me everyday and it encourages me to continue striving to become more like Him. That is why I am a Mormon. Because this is His church. I know it. God knows it. And I cannot deny it.

How I live my faith

I live it everyday. I feel that the main point of this gospel is that it isn't just a Sunday thing. For me, the way I live my life is how I live my faith. I have served in our church as a youth leader, piano player, our ward (congregation) chorister, a visiting teacher to two amazing young ladies, and as a Sunday School Teacher -thankfully not all at once *grin*-. I love serving the people and particularly in my calling as a Sunday School and Visiting teacher I have loved getting to know and helping the people around me come unto Christ. They have taught me so much and I have loved being able to serve and teach them too. I am currently serving as a missionary in the France, Lyon mission.
