Hi I'm Aaron Denney

I grew up in California. I recently graduated High School. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Southern California and was homeschooled for most of my life. I love to play games, watch YouTube videos, hike, and play basketball with my friends. I also love to travel and have had the opportunity to visit many different places in the world. I've been to the beautiful island Samoa, explored the rainforest and cities of Bolivia, discovered the birthplace of my Grandmother in Puebla, Mexico, visited the capital of my Nation Washington D.C., and visited many breathtaking U.S. National Parks. My next adventure is a mission for my church in parts of Idaho and Oregon. I am really looking forward the this experience, and I hope I can help others learn about the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

Originally, I was Mormon becuase my parents are. But over time that changed. As I got older I began to develop my own testimony. By the time I was 15 I knew for myself that the LDS church was true. I know that God lives, and that he sent his firstborn son so that we could come back to him. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. I know that Joseph Smith resorted the church with the fullness of the gospel on the Earth. Finally, I know that my Father in heaven loves me and cares for me.

How I live my faith

I have lived my faith in a couple of different ways. Since I am still young, I haven't had many callings and responsibilities. I have hometeached with my father. Hometeaching is where you go to a couple or few families in your congregation and share a message, see how they are doing, and ask if they need anything. I also helped with the preparation and blessing of the Sacrament as an Aaronic Priesthood holder.
