Hi I'm Daegon

I grew up in the United States. I collected over 2,000 shoes for people in Ecuador and Haiti. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've grown up in a small town in Idaho. I am the only son and am surrounded by sisters (that I love dearly). I love swimming, running, rock climbing, and basketball. I am going to be serving a mission and then return and attend college. I've been a member all my life and I wouldn't change a thing.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member my whole life and I haven't always loved it, or frankly, even understood it. Thanks to loving parents, great friends, and my own desire to be sure about where I am going in life, I've developed my own testimony of Jesus Christ and his church. I've come to the knowledge that God and his son Jesus Christ are real and have restored the true gospel through Joseph Smith. The Book of Mormon is an amazing testament of Christ and I know it's true. I love it. Thomas S. Monson is a true and living prophet, it is so important to have a living prophet and give heed to his words. I love the Lord's church with all my heart and I know that someday I may return again to live with my savior. That is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have served in many leadership positions in our young mens' groups. I really enjoy assisting in planning and participating in all our groups' camping trips and other activities. It's great to have a great time with friends that share your values and are there for you.
