Hi I'm Allie Parr :)

I've lived in Texas my whole life. I graduated high school early and have my two-year degree from college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy traveling around the world, creating/playing music, running/hiking, cooking, as well as just having fun! I come from a big family which I love. I am currently graduated from community college with my associates degree and plan to continue my education to become a dental hygienist.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not because my parents made me, not because the church makes me and not because I am forced to be. I am a Mormon because I have felt the love and power from our Heavenly Father and my goal is to share that love with others and to be an example of Christ. I love my Heavenly Father and I know that the church is based on true doctrines and that anyone who has a willingness and a open heart to learn is capable of knowing the truths of the gospel. I know we have living prophets just as they did in olden times. I know that we are all sons and daughters of God. I know the scriptures are true as long as they are translated correctly. I know the joy the gospel can bring to someones life and I am grateful to be a part of the church. I continue to be faithful due to the examples of those I love who have accepted the gospel continue to grow and share their testimonies with me. I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing my beliefs with my friends and those I come in contact with who are interested to know anything. I am currently called as a ward missionary which gives me opportunities to go out with the missionaries and share the gospel with anyone and everyone! I read my scriptures (Bible, book of Mormon, etc.) daily and try to be consistent in prayer in order to grow my testimony of Jesus Christ and bring the joy of the gospel to others and their families.
