Hi I'm Abby!

I'm a people person. I love singing on the top of my lungs, hiking, and making people smile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love people. I love hiking, rock climbing, and being in the outdoors. I have struggled with depression on and off throughout my life, but the knowledge that God loves broken things and that through my Savior I can be whole has helped me. Yo creo con toda mi corazón que español es el idioma de los cielos!

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a Mormon because no where else have I found more happiness in my life than by doing my best to follow Christ’s example. Sometimes I feel like my efforts are always falling short, but I’ve learned that Christ’s Atonement is perfect and that by grace I can be saved after all I can do. The Book of Mormon and the Bible are the rock in my testimony they help me find answers to questions that I have on a regular basis as well as ones that I’ve had my whole life. They also help me feel peace and stability in my life. Prayer is also a big part of my life because life is so hard! We can’t do it alone and who better to enlist on our team than God right!? I also love being a Mormon because we are given so many opportunities to serve those in the community and around the world, a lesson I’ve learned through the church is that it’s not what we recieve in this life that makes us happy, but it is what we give to others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith be being my best self. I do my best to serve those around me especially the youth who are having hard times. I have a gift where I can really relate to lots of people and love people for who they are. This gift has helped me reach out to people who might feel alone at the time, I can show them that with Christ and with God our Heavenly Father we are truly never alone. I also participated in an LDS choir for 7 years we traveled the US sharing a message of hope and love for everyone. Music is powerful and has changed my life.
