Hi I'm Jason Firth

I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I am a swimmer and water polo player. I play the trumpet. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a full-time mission in Orlando, Florida. I was called to learn and preach the gospel in the Haitian Creole language I will be attending BYU afterwards. I am the youngest of 4 boys. My father is an orthodontist. My mother was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer 8 years ago. I plan to follow in my father's footsteps and pursue a career in dentistry, likely in orthodontics or pediatrics. I love playing lots of sports, like swimming/water polo, basketball, tennis, golf, and volleyball. I enjoy listening to and playing music, and I enjoy watching musical theater as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this church, however that hasn't come without many different trials and tests to my faith. I truly have had to decide for myself if this is something I am willing and eager to remain active in for the rest of my life. I can honestly say I have sought this cause out faithfully in prayer and study, and I have received confirmation through the surreal and divine power of the Holy Ghost that this is the true church of Jesus Christ. There is no other institution like it. I have developed powerful love the Book of Mormon and a legitimate knowledge of its validity. I know for surety that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and saw what he saw and did what he claimed he did. I love this church, and my life would not be the same without it.

How I live my faith

I am the chorister in our ward, meaning I trade off leading the music for the congregation with two other members. I am serving a full-time mission for two years in hopes of sharing my testimony with others and inviting others to come unto Jesus Christ and partake of His gospel.
