Hi I'm Kahee Lilia Shin

I grew up in South Korea! Moved to Utah a few years ago. Currently, I am serving in the best mission in the history of life :)

About Me

I was born in South Korea; however, I moved to Utah when I was 16. I am the youngest of four, and I love love love my family so much! They are really important to my life. Also my lovely two dogs :) My motto is "make people happy" that is something I try to live by because I believe that we are here on earth to learn how to be happy and we are supposed to help each others to find the happiness. That is why my parents named me as Ka Hee which means Ka (add) Hee (Happiness), and THAT IS WHY I'm SERVING A MISSION. (Washington DC North Mission)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I love our Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father, and I know that this church is the true church. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

One of my favorite scriptures is John 14:15, "If ye love me, keep my commandments." The reason why I love the scripture is because I have never realized before that we need to be obedient and follow his commandments, if we Love our Savior Jesus Christ. The one verse changed my whole mind set. Since then, I have been trying to be obedient and trying to follow the example of Jesus Christ; however, I make mistakes every single moment in my life because I am not perfect. BUT! great thing about the gospel is we get credit for trying, even if we don’t always succeed (quoted by Elder Holland). I have so much faith that I can be a better person every second by repenting my mistakes, and I am so thankful for our savior Jesus Christ who gave me the chance to be a better person everyday through his atonment. How merciful he is! One day, when I meet him! I want to give him a big, huge HUG! and say, "Thank you for everything that you have done for us." ❤ This is how I live my faith.
