Hi I'm Nick

I was born and raised in Idaho. I write music because it is an outlet for my testimony. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born and raised a member in a tiny town in Idaho. My family is very musically oriented, and I love music. I sing, act, and play the piano and ukulele. I love being outside and enjoying the beautiful sights Heavenly Father has blessed me to grow up in. I have been called to serve in the Sweden Stockholm Mission starting in August and I couldn't be more excited!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this gospel has blessed my life tremendously. I see all the posts, articles, news casts with words that say the world is out of control and I don't believe that. The Gospel helps me see the good through The Church's humanitarian work, and the blessings that come from living the covenants in the temple. All worry goes away, and all that's left is God's love.

How I live my faith

I am currently the CTR 7 Teacher in our ward. I have held some callings in my life but i feel that I try and live my faith through example. Trying to be like Jesus, just like the primary kids have taught me, is a way I feel helps bring people to the gospel before you open your mouth and teach the word. I try to love everyone, as best I can, despite what they have been through, and be an example or a light on the hill.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Nick
I know I cannot live without my family. They have been my support from the beginning. being the youngest though, I spent a good deal of time looking up at them, literally and figuratively. Each one of my family members have been a huge support. When my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer when I was in the first grade, it was hard for me to see my mother go through that. despite the pain and sorrow, I remember my family working as a unit and pulling through that hard time. I would lay by my mom and keep her company. my sister and brother did laundry, and my other brothers did dinner and ran us to activities. My Dad worked hard scheduled, but our ward family. They brought us dinners, cleaned, took some of us out so my dad could have some time with my mom. Those memories instilled in me that not only did I have the best family in my home, where i was loved unconditionally, but that it broke the barriers of my home and extending into the neighborhood. My family is the center of my life. I have been taught, led, and loved by them. My life would not be with as much happiness if I didnt have them. Show more Show less
