Hi I'm Olivia

I grew up with in an LDS family in Northern New Mexico. I love my family, I love Jesus Christ, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am just finishing up my first year of college at BYU-Idaho and am preparing to serve a mission in the Florida Jacksonville mission. I grew up dancing on a competitive team and still have a deep love for dance. I love being outside hiking, running, and camping. I enjoy singing and listening to all different types of music.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me true happiness. This gospel has allowed me to gain a very real connection with my Savior, Jesus Christ. When I was a Senior in High School, my older brother passed away suddenly and I felt like my world was completely shaken. Through this hard time I was able to turn to Christ and I received comfort. I felt supported and lifted up and I gained a better understanding of what was expected of me in this life. I had never felt so much love as I did during this sad time, and I knew it was because my Heavenly Father knows me personally and was taking care of me. I have noticed this in every aspect of my life, and every trial I have gone through. Whether it is something big or small, I know that I can turn to them and they will help me. I know that Christ atoned for me, and this atonement not only covers sins but also sorrows, pain, and affliction. If I am willing to turn my life over to him he will help me and make up where I lack, because I know I could never make it by myself. I am a Mormon because I know that this gospel has restored truths that make it possible for me to be with my family for eternity, and that it the most important thing to me. I know that my Savior Jesus Christ lives, and as long as he lives I'll live for him.

How I live my faith

I love participating in church activities. We had a lot of activities in my student wards at school, and it was a great way to help serve and get to know a lot of people! I also live my faith by completing my visiting teaching, helping other girls like me in the ward with any problems they might be having. Visiting teaching is a great way to share testimony of what we believe and be able to help build up our sisters.
