Hi I'm Ravyn

I grew up in Augusta, Georgia. I am serving as a missionary in Nicaragua. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently on hiatus after having attended a year of college. This hiatus is caused by the Mormon mission that I am serving. After 18 months I will return to school where I will pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders and a Master's in Speech Language Pathology so that I can become a Speech Language Pathologist. 3 of my 4 brothers have needed help from a SLP in their lives and I have seen the blessings that come from helping others communicate better and I know how important that work can be. I believe we should all be able to express ourselves.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Christ lives and loves me. I know it with everything inside me. I know that He is my Savior and Redeemer. I live my whole life guided by that truth. I know that I have a God who watches over me. Who sent His son to die for me so that I may someday return to Him, perfected. I am a Mormon because I know that families can be forever together and that life has no end. I know that there are no true goodbyes on this earth because God has promised us a future with the ones we have loved and lost. I am a Mormon because when I was 13 years old I was confused. I didn't know what truth was. I didn't know if I even believed in God. But God saw me and He led me and He showed me that He is real and that He loves me. He led me here. Here I felt of His love. I felt safe. I felt peace. And I never wanted to look for peace again. I'm a Mormon because I know it's where God wants me to be. I know that it's where He can bring me peace.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as a Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nicaragua. It is through this mission that I am able to live life like the Savior with no distraction-- I am able to go forth and serve and love all those that I meet. It is such a privilege to have a knowledge of truth and to help others come unto it also and I consider myself very lucky to be chosen and worthy to bring my happiness to the lives of countless others.
