Hi I'm Colton Lasswell

I was born in Utah, but am a Texan at heart. I love to play rugby. I am addicted to serving the Lord. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love spending time with my family. They mean so much to me. I will be serving in the Cambodia Phnom Penh mission from June of 2016 to June of 2018. I love service and love to see people smile. I was born in Provo ,Utah til I was the age of 4, I then moved to Houston, Texas and lived there for 6 years. I absolutely love Texas. At the age of 10 I moved to Stavanger, Norway. It was a lot more different than Texas, but I loved every second of it. I also learned how to play rugby while I lived here. I especially loved the snow, cause Texas didn't have any. At 13 I moved back to Texas. I continued to play rugby and joined the Woodlands Rugby Club. I played til I graduated from High School. I knew I wanted to serve a mission from a very young age so that was my goal and dream. Now I'm living it.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that with my faith and their help I can conquer all things. I love my family and the plan of Salvation Heavenly Father has given us so we might live with our families for all of eternity. I love the Gift of the Atonement and all the blessings I have received from it. I love this church and I know it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my anchors in the gospel. I anchor my faith into aspects of the gospel I hold sacred in my heart. I've gone through trails in my life where I depended on my faith and my anchors to keep me grounded in this church. I love going to the church. I love serving others. I love the thought of my future kids growing up in this wonderful church.
