Hi I'm Everett Clark

I was born in Arizona and moved to Idaho when I was 5. I have been a member of the church my whole life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to do outdoor things. Living in Idaho, I have lots of opportunities for backpacking, camping, snowboarding, and all other outdoor activities. I also love wakeboarding and all things out on the lake. I play some guitar, though I am not very good. I am a huge movie fan and can quote almost any movie I've seen. I also enjoy reading and playing games. I like to spend time with family and friends as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon first because I was born into the church. My parents are members as well as my grandparents. But most importantly, I chose to be a part of this church through careful study of the teachings and many hours pondering the doctrines and principles of this gospel. I have also prayed and have felt the Holy Ghost testify to me that this church is true. I know that the Book of Mormon was translated through divine revelation to Joseph Smith. I know that Heavenly Father is a real being who loves me and all of his children. I know that He answers prayers and will give a feeling of peace and comfort through the Holy Ghost when praying. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and has atoned for the sins of the world. I know that he has risen and that he lives and that he will come again. I know that if we follow his teachings and live righteously that we can live with Him and our Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I have been a member my whole life. I am only 18 years old, though I have served in many callings and leadership positions in the church. I enjoy home teaching and visiting with some families in my ward. I find great joy in the church and it is something very close to my heart.
