Hi I'm Hannah

I grew up in Wyoming. I love Jesus Christ and am trying to become more like Him. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love to play sports, especially volleyball and basketball. Music makes my heart happy! I am going to school to be an attorney. I have seen the effects of addiction and the power of the Atonement in overcoming them. I love my parents and my two siblings. My family means everything to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ established on the earth through the prophet, Joseph Smith. I know that Thomas S. Monson is God's prophet on the earth today and he leads and guides the church how God wants him to. I know with all of my heart that the Book of Mormon is true, and it can change lives, if it is allowed to. I know that Heavenly Father loves me and each of His children individually. Most of all, I KNOW that Jesus Christ performed the greatest act of love in the history of humanity so that we can return to live with Him and His Father. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.

How I live my faith

I am currently a full time missionary serving in the Indiana Indianapolis Mission, and I love it! I try to center my life around helping those around me come closer to the Savior. I strive to grow and improve each day through personal scripture study, prayer, and listening to the promptings of the Holy Ghost to know how I can be better. I come closer to Christ by serving others and striving to keep my covenants.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

We all must follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized by one who holds the priesthood authority of God in order to enter into God's kingdom. The scriptures tell us that no unclean thing can enter into the presence of God. We all make mistakes on this earth and become "dirty". Because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can be made clean through a process of sincere repentance. Baptism is the first cleansing ordinance in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the power of God, and the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can be made clean and enter into the gate of the path that will lead us to eternal life with our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
