Hi I'm Chad Wallin

I grew up just outside of SLC and I've been called to the Korea Daejeon Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a suburb outside of Salt Lake City in a densely Mormon community. I recently graduated high school where I was on the swim team. I enjoyed swimming and even made the state team my last year. I love to travel and have been all around the world. Some of my favorite trips have been humanitarian trips to South America. We did a lot of cool projects with the natives which was interesting to see their living conditions. I've been called to serve in the Korea Daejeon Mission which I'm extremely excited about. Afterward I plan on going to college but am not sure what I'm going to do.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because of the testimony I have gained that this is the true church. I get worried thinking about the future and what will happen next but because I have the church in my life and a testimony that the Lord and the Holy Ghost is watching over us and guiding us to make the best choices we can is comforting. I also enjoy the sense of community we have in the church, I have gained a lot of close friends from the church. Its comforting to know that I can be with my family forever because I never want to lose these people. This church has helped me a lot to become a stronger person and I am forever thankful of that.

How I live my faith

I was born into the church and have stayed with it every since. I have been in and out of quorum presidencies throughout my years of holding the priesthood. As mentioned before I'm going on a mission which is an exciting prospect to do nothing but serve the lord with nothing else on the agenda. I constantly strive to be the best example I can be and to be as Christ-like as possible. I try to conduct myself in a manner that if the Lord saw me at any given moment I would feel proud and not ashamed at what I was doing.
