Hi I'm Briana

I'm the oldest of five kids. I've lived my entire life in Colorado. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my first year of college online. I love to hike, play basketball, read, make jewelry, write poems and stories, and ride horses. My dream is to direct music videos, but really I would love to do anything that pertains to the entertainment industry.

Why I am a Mormon

My dad is the first member of his family and my mom grew up in the church. Though the church is the only religion I ever practiced, the experiences I've had testify to me that this is the true church. My conversion began when I was young, somewhere between ten and twelve. I kept thinking, "What if I'm a member of the wrong church? What if I go to hell because of it?" Though my thought seem extreme, it's what I thought at the time. Then I started really studying and learning about the church. I read the Book of Mormon and knew someone with a third grad education couldn't have written that book by himself. I had small instances of wanting to believe this was the right church, but some doubt lingered. When I was about seventeen years old, I completed my Personal Progress book, a encouragement book to help you improve from the years twelve to eighteen, and the feeling that came over me was so wonderful. It literally felt as if my heart was on fire, but it was a soothing fire that made me want to run around and jump for joy. It was then that I knew, without any doubt left, that this church is true and I was in the place that I needed to be.

How I live my faith

My current assignment in my ward is to create programs for each Sunday. I also am in charge of helping people in my ward find housing or get housing information from others.
